Privacy Policy

This site is operated by Haventech Build LLC ("HavenTechBuild", "we"), a custom software and AI development agency based in New Jersey, USA. This policy explains what personal information we collect through haventechbuild.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

Information we collect

Contact form. When you use the form at the bottom of a page, we receive your name and role, your company name, a description of what you need, your project timeline and your email address.
Call bookings. Discovery calls are booked through Google Calendar appointment scheduling. Google collects the details you enter there, such as your name and email address, and passes the booking to us.
Email and phone. If you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to tell us.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics only if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner. If you accept, it sets cookies and records information such as the pages you view, your approximate location, your device and browser, and how you reached the site. If you decline, it does not load.
Search statistics. We use Google Search Console, which shows us aggregate figures about how our pages appear in Google Search, such as which searches led to a page. It does not identify individual visitors and adds no tracking to this site.
Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard logs of requests to the site, which include IP addresses.

The site also keeps two small entries in your browser's storage: your cookie choice, and a flag so the intro animation plays only once per visit. Neither holds personal information.

To reply to your enquiry and scope a possible project.
To schedule and hold calls with you.
To understand how the site is used and improve it.
To keep the site secure and working.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who processes it for us

We rely on a small number of service providers, each of which handles data under its own terms:

Google, for analytics (Google Analytics), call bookings (Google Calendar) and the database that stores contact form submissions (Firebase).
Netlify, which hosts the site.
Cloudinary, which serves images on our blog.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you and to maintain our business records. Ask us to delete them and we will, unless the law requires us to keep them.

Where it is processed

We are based in New Jersey, USA, and our service providers process data in the United States and other countries. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in those countries.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email info@haventechbuild.com.
To change your cookie choice, use the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of any page. Choosing Decline also removes analytics cookies set on an earlier visit.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, such as the right to object to how your information is used or to complain to your data protection regulator.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
